2022 Chevy Camaro: Trim Levels

The Chevrolet Camaro has earned a solid reputation as a muscle car since its debut for the 1967 model year. The 2022 model, part of the sixth generation of the Chevy Camaro, pushes the limits on-road performance and has a well-defined, driver-centric interior view.

If you’re looking for a new Camaro, you should be aware of the available trims so that you can choose the vehicle that best matches your needs and lifestyle. Take a look at this guide to all the trim specifications of the 2022 Chevy Camaro, including all its standard features and price tags.

The 1LS is the base trim of the 2022 Chevy Camaro and is designed as a two-door coupe with rear-wheel drive. Under the hood, it boasts a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas-powered engine that produces 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

The 1LS is fitted with a Chevrolet’s StabiliTrak system with traction control. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, with an eight-speed automatic transmission available as an option. Fuel economy is a combined 22 mpg.

The interior seats four and offers a power-adjustable driver seat, an automatic climate control system, and Track Mode acceleration for race drivers. The six-speaker audio system and Bluetooth technology allow you to play two devices simultaneously. The starting price tag for the 1LS is $25,000.

1LT (2 Styles)

The Camaro 1LT trim shares many of the same features as the 1LS trim but has some added options. You can choose between a two-door convertible or a two-door coupe. Both styles are rear-wheel drive and both come equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 275 horsepower. That engine is paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but an automatic eight-speed transmission is available.

The interior is very cozy with power-adjustable front seats. It has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knobs. Both styles share the same air bag technology as the 1LS and offer a tire pressure monitoring system.

This trim’s infotainment system allows Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility with a 7-inch color touch screen. There isn’t much interior difference with the 1LS  except for the upgraded infotainment system with a premium audio system. The 1LT convertible starts at $31,500, while the two-door coupe starts at $25,000.

3LT (2 Styles)

Mechanically, the 3LT is similar to the 2SS. Most interior features are identical, and both boast the same safety features, such as equipped driver-assist technology. The 3LT has improved performance, with its noticeable differences being the mechanical options.

Its standard 2.0 liter, four-cylinder gas-powered engine delivers 275 horsepower with a six-speed manual transmission. It can be upgraded to a V-6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, the 3LT offers wireless charging for devices, an improved sound system, an upgraded driver info display, and an infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen.

The two-door convertible 3LT has a starting price of $37,500, while the two-door coupe goes for $31,500.

You should note that the LT1 shares the standard features of the 1LT. Its interior and the seats are also the same, and both have identical options. In addition, the safety features and the driver-assist technology are similar to other series’ trim packages.

A 6.2-liter gas-powered V-8 engine produces 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. An improved Brembo brake system matches the additional horsepower.

Prices for the LT1 convertible start at $40,000, while the coupe goes for $34,000.

ZL1 (2 Styles)

This model is the crown jewel of the Chevrolet Camaro lineup. The Chevrolet ZL1 offers the best of all in this comparison. The High trim option sports a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers 650 horsepower.

There’s a Track Mode option for racing, and Magnetic Ride Control helps maintain a smooth and comfortable ride. Inside, you’ll be comfortable in Recaro bucket seats.

The starting price for the two-door ZL1 convertible is $66,000, while the two-door coupe goes for $63,000.
