The 2022 Chevy Traverse features an impressive, easy-to-use infotainment system. The system includes an AM/FM stereo, Bluetooth audio streaming for two active devices, and voice command pass-through to compatible phones. It’s anchored by a standard 7-inch diagonal color touch-screen display. On upper trims, you’ll get a larger 8-inch high-definition touch-screen display, which shows colorful graphics in fantastic clarity.

Every 2022 Chevy Traverse comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. With this technology, you can connect your phone, so the touch screen displays your messages, contacts, music, podcasts, or other apps. On upper trims, the infotainment system also includes voice recognition, available Alexa Built-In, and available in-vehicle apps, which you can install directly onto the infotainment system. These apps include The Weather Channel, Spotify, Audiobooks.com, and many others.

Audio System

In the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse, you can listen to your podcasts or jam out to your favorite tunes in crystal-clear clarity. The all-new Traverse features a standard six-speaker audio system, so even passengers in the third row will be able to hear what’s playing. For an enhanced listening experience, choose an RS, Premier, or High Country model, which come standard with a Bose premium 10-speaker sound system featuring a Richbass woofer under the center console.

If you purchase a 2022 Chevy Traverse, you’ll also enjoy a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM, a satellite and streaming platform. SiriusXM offers something for everyone, whether you prefer classical music, heavy metal hits, news and entertainment channels, or live sports programming. It also provides access to on-demand shows, performances, or interviews.

Active Noise Cancellation

If you’ve ever had to shout while driving to speak with a back-seat passenger, you’ll be grateful for Active Noise Cancellation technology, standard in all Traverse models. This technology blocks noise, absorbs sound, and eliminates vibrations to reduce outside noise and traffic. You’ll be able to carry on conversations easily — or simply hear yourself think.

USB Ports

While some SUVs only offer USB ports in the front console, the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse comes with multiple ports throughout the cabin. Two USB ports are located in the first row, along with an auxiliary input jack in the front storage area. There are also two USB ports in both the second and third rows. No matter where you’re sitting, you’ll be able to charge your devices so you can stay connected while you’re on the go.

Wireless Capabilities

Every 2022 Chevy Traverse has Wi-Fi hotspot capability. With a paid data plan, you can use the hotspot to set up a Wi-Fi network. Through this network, you can connect up to seven devices, including smartphones and tablets. Once you’re connected, you’ll be able to stream movies, browse the internet, access your social media, and download games. Whether you’re running errands across town or traveling on long road trips, having a Wi-Fi hotspot can help keep your passengers entertained.

Driver Information Center

All 2022 Chevy Traverse models come with a Driver Information Center, which provides essential information about the vehicle. This technology displays the vehicle speed, fuel range, tire pressure, fuel economy, and other warning icons, such as service reminders. The LS and LT Cloth trims come with a monochromatic display, while all other Traverse models feature a full-color Driver Information Center. On Premier and High Country models, you’ll get a sizable 8-inch enhanced multi-color display with reconfigurable options, so you can customize the display to your preferences.

Keyless Open and Start

Every 2022 Chevrolet Traverse comes with Keyless Open and Start technology. This handy feature allows you to lock and unlock the car doors when you have the key fob in your possession. While in the vehicle, you can turn the engine on or off with the push of a button. This feature also comes with extended-range remote keyless entry, a panic alarm, and lockout protection, so you don’t lock the keys inside the vehicle. Keep the fob in your bag or pocket, and you’ll never have to waste time digging for your keys again.

Remote Start

Remote Start comes standard on the four upper Traverse trims, and it’s optional on LT Cloth models. With this feature, you can start the vehicle remotely to heat or cool the cabin before you start your trip. While Remote Start is running, it locks the doors and activates the climate control system. No more sweating inside a hot vehicle on a sweltering summer day in North Texas.

Chevy Safety Assist

Every 2022 Chevrolet Traverse comes equipped with the Chevy Safety Assist system. This comprehensive suite of advanced safety and driver assistance features can help you drive with confidence. Chevy Safety Assist includes:

  • Forward Collision Alert: If the SUV detects a possible front-end collision, this feature will provide an alert to warn you to take action.
