Chevy’s Electric Vehicle Line-up

With their efficient, gas-saving technology, electric vehicles (EVs) are quickly becoming the vehicles of the future. To meet the electric moment, manufacturers like Chevrolet are creating new, electrically enhanced versions of some of their most iconic vehicles. From pickup trucks to hatchbacks, you’ll be able to find an EV to match any of your driving preferences.

At Huffines Chevrolet Plano, we want you to find a vehicle that can give you all the power, performance, and features you need while maximizing efficiency. Read on to learn more about some of Chevrolet’s current and future EV options and why you might want to drive one today.

Bolt EV

One of Chevrolet’s newest available EV options, the 2022 Bolt EV is an updated version of the classic electric hatchback. This small but mighty vehicle comes in two trim levels: the 1LT and the 2LT. Across these trims, you’ll enjoy an electric engine that creates a very respectable 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive comes standard with this popular EV.

Enjoy a driving range of 259 miles on a full charge for your electric fix. With an advanced charging system, you can reach this full charge at home in seven hours. The available DC fast-charging option lets you add about 100 miles of range every 30 minutes with a Level 3 connection, which can often be found in public charging stations. The Bolt EV’s unique one-pedal driving mode technology also lets you increase regenerative braking capability with the touch of a button. This feature can help you store the energy from the braking process to increase efficiency even further.

The EV maximizes comfort and style with a futuristic look and enhanced interior features and options for features and amenities. You’ll get a roomy backseat with enough space for two, redesigned front seats, and a standard 10.2-inch touch screen infotainment system with features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless smartphone charging are also available as options for a more luxurious and connected ride. Enjoy standard features like automatic high beams and front pedestrian detection for safety. You can also add a 360-degree camera system and rear cross-traffic alert.

Bolt EUV

A close relative to the Bolt EV, the 2022 Bolt EUV takes electric performance up a notch. This electric utility vehicle (EUV) is SUV-inspired, which means comfort, storage space, and a rugged appearance come standard with fuel-saving electric benefits. You can select this new take on electric in three trims: the LT, Premiere, and Launch Edition. Across trims, you’ll enjoy a 200 horsepower electric engine that creates up to 247 miles of driving range per charge. Front-wheel drive is standard.

Like the Bolt EV, the EUV can be charged at home with a standard 120-volt outlet or a quicker 240-volt connection. DC fast charging can similarly provide up to 95 miles of range in just 30 minutes. Just like its bolt cousin, this EUV comes with regenerative braking features to help recapture energy and extend driving range.

In terms of appearance, the EV and EUV start to separate. With its thoughtful, SUV-inspired design, the EUV is longer, wider, and taller than its counterpart. This adds extra space to the already roomy EV. Standard interior features include a digital gauge display and a 10.2-inch infotainment touch screen with integrated climate controls. Stay connected with features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon’s Alexa, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. You can connect to your Bolt EUV with a smartphone app that sends charging alerts and connects to nearby charging networks for something really futuristic.

You’ll enjoy standard features for safety, including automated emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. A standout Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system is available. No matter how you drive it, this EUV is sure to give you a fun, spacious, and tech-forward ride.
