Chevy is revolutionizing its electric vehicle (EV) lineup by adding the Equinox EV, Blazer EV, and Silverado EV. With enough power and features to please anyone from the car lover to the technology-obsessed, the 2024 lineup delivers. If you’re considering a new 2024 Chevy electric vehicle and want to know more, our Huffines Chevrolet Plano team has you covered. Keep reading to learn about the new and exciting features you can enjoy with your new 2024 Chevrolet EV.

What’s New in the 2024 Chevy EV Lineup?

Aside from the obvious EV tag, some fantastic new features are in store for the 2024 Chevy EV lineup. Notable additions from the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV and EUV are the Wide Open Watts (WOW) feature and available Super Cruise driver-assistance technology on the new Blazer EV and Silverado EV. Here’s more about these two impressive features.

WOW Feature

While the standard performance on the Blazer EV and Silverado EV is enough to turn heads, the WOW feature lets each vehicle take its power and performance up a notch by allocating additional power resources to enhance the torque and horsepower potential for each vehicle. This means your Blazer EV can get up to a GM-estimated 557 horsepower, and your Silverado EV can get up to a whopping GM-estimated 754 horsepower.

Super Cruise

With a Super Cruise plan or trial on your EV, you can enjoy the freedom of available hands-free driving. With this technology feature enabled, you can explore around 400,000 miles of compatible roads — with more roads being added — in the United States and Canada. This function uses real-time cameras, sensors, GPS, and light detection and ranging map data to let you explore the world hands-free, making those long road trips even more enjoyable.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV is a modern version of the legendary gas-powered SUV. It incorporates many of the features found in previous models and brings them to the new age. Powered by the Ultium platform, this impressive SUV delivers quick acceleration, making your daily commute more exciting. With a towing capacity of up to 1,500 pounds, you can take your small utility trailer along for the ride.

A more modern exterior and walk-up lighting enhance your safety, as you no longer have to fumble around in the dark for your keys. Front and rear lighting animations and flush door handles add to this sporty SUV’s sleek appearance.

The interior has ample cargo space, customizable ambient lighting, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a heated front wiper park feature. No more worrying about being cold or having your wiper blades stick to your windshield on those chilly winter days and nights.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV

Coming in Spring 2024, the new Blazer EV reinvents the SUV with its impressive power and sleek style. Technology is at the forefront of this vehicle, with interior features such as an 11-inch diagonal driver information screen, a large 17.7-inch diagonal display screen, and an available wireless charging pad to keep you powered up and connected. This SUV also has a hands-free start system and an available race car-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel.

On the base 2LT model, you can cruise along on 19-inch wheels and benefit from an increased battery capacity, getting an EPA-estimated 279-mile range. The RS trim has 21-inch wheels, standard all-wheel drive, a black-painted grille panel and lower fascia, and plush Evotex seating. The top-tier SS trim turns heads with its 22-inch wheels and a GM-estimated 290-mile range, as well as interior luxuries like heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated outboard seats for your comfort.

Another unique benefit of owning a Chevy EV, including the Blazer EV, is the additional warranty coverage that covers the EV propulsion battery pack and its internal components for eight years or 100,000 miles. It also includes courtesy transportation and roadside assistance. Another owner benefit is access to the myChevrolet mobile app, which can help you find more than 134,000 public chargers to power your EV.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV

Coming Summer of 2024, the new Chevrolet Silverado EV has all the power of its traditional gas-powered twin with a greener footprint. With the WOW feature enabled, you can get an incredible max towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. Drivers can enjoy the sleek 24-inch aluminum wheels, the eTruck underhood storage compartment, an available panoramic fixed-glass roof, and an illuminated front light bar and bowtie emblem.

This EV has a Multi-Flex Midgate with pass-through that enables you to configure your vehicle to effortlessly fit items up to 10 feet, 10 inches long. No more renting a trailer to transport furniture or extra-long wood panels; your truck can do it all. With the truck bed, you can open the primary gate with your key fob, a switch inside the truck, or a button on the gate, along with a helpful load-stop feature that prevents long items from slipping out.

Inside, there’s a massive 17.7-inch digital display screen with built-in Google integration, so you no longer need to connect your phone to stream your favorite tunes or load Google Maps. The Silverado — along with the rest of the 2024 EV lineup — also comes standard with the Chevy Safety Assist suite, which includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision warning, high-beam assist, and a following distance indicator.
